Need to get to Hokitika after the train? We can help. Departure from the Greymouth Railway Station at 2pm daily will have you down in Hokitika by 2.30pm for check-in at your chosen accommodation.

We will also pick you up with the return journey Hokitika to Greymouth departing 10.30am daily.

Wanting to do a tour while in Hokitika? Instead of taking the return transfer at 10.30am book the Explore Hokitika Tour, where you will see the Hokitika Gorge and Tree Top Walkway before returning the Greymouth in time for the TranzAlpine train departure.

Tour info – Report 15 minutes prior to departure time. If you need to amend or cancel the booking reservation please advise Explore West Coast without delay.

• Change of date or holding of booking up to 24 hours before travel.

• Any booking canceled within 72 hours to 24 hours before travel will result in a refund minus 10% booking fee. 

• Within 24 hours before travel no refund will be given.

• Full refund for any booking canceled outside of the 72 hour cut off period.

• This policy also stands in the situation of a pandemic, which affects the tour operation or the lockdown of a region the customer is traveling from and in which case a change of date or hold of booking will be offered within the 24 hour period.
